Dr. Jharna Singh Yadav, a young ophthalmologist with the dream for accessible but quality vision and eye health started Netraa eye care along with her husband. She has completed her MBBS from GSVM Medical College, Kanpur in 2008 and then completed her MS in Ophthalmology from GMC, Bhopal, Regional Institute of Ophthalmology (RIO) in 2011. She was awarded Smt. Kamla Bihari Vajpayee award for academic excellence in her Post Graduation. After her MS, she pursued her fellowship in anterior segment and comprehensive Ophthalmology from NEI, Shankara Group of Eye Hospitals. She later on joined the old and esteemed hospital situated in North India, VENU Eye Institute in Delhi. The experience she has garnered after working in such a reputed Institute made her more competent in anterior segment treatment. While in VENU Eye Institute, she also completed her Lasik Training under prestigious Dr. Rupal Shah in Vadodara. She always wanted to serve the people of her own state, so she returned to Uttar Pradesh and joined Vasan Eye Care. After working in Vasan Eye Care, Lucknow for about a year, she started working in Divya Jyoti Netralaya. She looks after the cases of Cataract, Lasik & Glaucoma Department along with the Pediatric Unit.
Dr. Jharna Singh Yadav is now working full time at Netraa Eye Care which is her dream project for accessible & quality vision and health care which will open new opportunities for her. Netraa team is fully equipped to tackle cases of Cataract, Glaucoma, Lasik and other refractive surgery, Paedritic, squint and retina.
